I'm far from writing about "homophobic" story which was trending on Sunday, 22 Jan. However, I would like to say: All judgemental people must just get a chair and sit down.
I'm not writing to support anyone. I write about what I know and have experienced. Years back, I felt judged that I even wanted to move to another church. In brief: I have a child out of wedlock and fully agree that it is wrong but still think that no one has the rights to remind me of my sins. But to help me stand against them, to learn and improve. People should love me with all my mistakes like God does. They must leave judgement to God.
Christianity is a very sensitive subject. I personally think that Christianity is personal. It is a deal between one person and God. That should be known and be understood very well. Everyone is allowed to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and saviour with or without sins. Not all of us will spiritually grow fast or at once.
People need to leave judging to God because no one is perfect. If anyone think that they are perfect, then they should pray for me. I want to be like them.
Judging others is one of the reasons why people move from God or don't go to church at all.
According to me, church should be a second home for everyone. It should be a place where we going when feeling challenged spiritually or otherwise. I see it as a spiritual clinic. And through the process we will therefore learn to keep God's commandments.
Fellow brothers and sisters should know their bibles and what God is saying about them. Learn to only look up to God for help but not people of flesh because we all make mistakes. They should not allow people of the flesh to drive them out of God's love or house.
Among other scriptures which teaches about judgement, I read from ones below:
Matthew 7:1-2 (1 Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you)
James 4:1 (Don't speak against one another brothers. He who speaks against a brother and judges his brother speaks against the law and judge the law, you are not a doer of the law, but a judge)
John 8:4&7 (4 they told him, " Teacher, we found this woman in adultery, in the very act". 7 But when they continued asking him, he looked up and said to them, "He who is without sin among you, let him throw the first stone at her".
