It comes as a disappoinment to find people benefiting from our musicians 's hard work.I am strongly moved by the arrest of Lusanda Mcinga while she was fighting with Mzoli Vusani for selling pirated CDs. Lusanda got arrested on the 13 November 2011 but she bravely said "I will continue fighting against piracy because this is robbing us of our only income, so I am prepared to fight to the bitter end." read more
It is very touching to see our music celebrities suffer pains after all the hard work. Lusanda fought for the course that she believed in and stood-up for the originality of her music. In September 2007, Mcinga was injured after being slapped by a businessman at Willowvale after she had confronted him about her CDs, which were fake. Siyabonga Ndunge the manager of Lusanda Spritual Singers adds that "If we can fight this scourge together as artists and get government to help us, see piracy as a crime then we can succeed in this fight."
